About the Photographer
 
Stephen DeVaughn, a PPA Certified, Cr. Photographer has been a Bay Area wedding and portrait Photographer for over 18 years. He has studied Wedding, Portraiture, and Photojournalism with many of this country's premier photographers. This training has given him expertise in the latest styles and trends, flattering lighting and posing, and a deep understanding of the complexities of the wedding day. Stephen believes in the importance of his profession, and the trust that is placed in his hands at every wedding and special event.

Photographers Certified by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) must meet the association's rigorous standards. To ensure that you get the best service possible, Certified Photographers are required continually upgrade their work, take additional training and re-qualify.

Stephen is also a member of the following associations:
 
Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area (PPGBA).
Long time member and past President of PPGBA one of the largest local associations of wedding and portrait photographers in the country.
Professional Photographers of America (PPA)
Association of Minority Professional Photographers (AMPP)
  
Stephen currently serves as the Chairman for Golden Gate School of Professional Photography , an organization that offers ongoing education for established and aspiring professional photographers, located in the San Francisco Bay area.
